- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Boykin is AMAZING! He treated our son "Tracker" as if he was his only patient. Dr. Boykin left no stone unturned as he and his staff cared for our son. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Had an appointment in august for my daughter's leg, has 2 medium size knots on it and has become more painful as has gone on. Dr. Boykin said he wanted an mri to see what he was dealing with, after a week of not hearing from anyone I called to inquire about the mri. Nurse told me that blue cross has denied it, so I call bcbs and talk to them and was told that the Dr can do a peer to peer and would get the mri approved. A week later again I call to inquire about the mri and the nurse tells me that bcbs had denied the mri again so we are doing an ultrasound, which he had said in our initial office visit that a ultrasound wasnt detailed enough. Well a week and a half later I call again and get the same run around about scheduling the ultrasound. Well to my surprise I discovered that the peer to peer never took place, I discovered this while at bcbs office on ashley ridge while making a payment. I Questioned the agent on why would they deny such a procedure after the Dr explains why he needs it. The agent looks into it and shows me on her screen that the peer to peer never took place Thats when I contacted another surgeon to get my daughter taken care without having to deal with a circus. Also we had 2 pm appointment for Dr Boykin, finally got into an exam room at 4:30 pm. Then they acted it was no big deal, chuckling saying thanks for waiting, lume peoe dont have work or a business to run like do ( being self employed). I dont care about me, but when it comes to my kids I dont play around. So I wouldn't recommend this place or this Dr to anyoneMay 29, 2017by Dwain Ashlock
